Geisha in Autumn
This is a recent painting of a Geisha in Autumn. I think Geisha's are a beautiful representation of art and elegance, they seem so feminine, fragile, and mysterious. Very nice to paint and capture with oils. The size is about 3" by 4.5" on gessoed paperboard.

Harvest Painting
Hey there and happy Thursday. I completed this painting recently of a basically what I saw basking in the glow of the sun one day in the living room, had to manuever them a bit to get the balance right. Definitely enjoyed painting this, I absolutely love fall and just the feeling it brings with it, hope you do to. Size is about 4 1/2 by 5 1/2, oil painting on gessoed paperboard. Framed with purchase at no additional cost.

A Portrait of Harold W. Johnson - A Tribute
Happy Thursday. This is a painting I completed just recently of the artist Harold W. Johnson. His name might not be too widespread, I could not find much about him on the internet. Yet he is an amazing artist and I have seen him at many art shows and festivals in the northwest. He is an amazing marine painter with numerous beautiful paintings of ships and boats on the water, he really captures the scene. And he is quite a distinct looking character as you can see, I was taken by how well he fits within his painting genre because he looks like he belongs on the water. And he seemed like a very friendly and humble man so it was a joy and a privilege to take his picture and then to paint it for your enjoyment. The painting in this painting is not actually a replica of one of his, I had to use one of my own ocean pictures and I do not believe it is near as brilliant as his own seascapes yet I wanted the main focus to be him, so hopefully this does him justice. The size is about 4" by 6", oil on acrylic underpainting.

On the Lake, Lake Crescent Lodge Washington
This is a painting I recently completed of a view from Lake Crescent Lodge in Olympic National Park Washington. It was a beautiful day and a beautiful view so it was great to make an attempt at capturing a family enjoying the relaxation and the beauty of this lake. It is a miniature oil painting, about 4" by 3".

New Miniature Painting - The Reader
This is a watercolor painting of a picture I took of a man reading outside of the entrance of the Huntington Library in Pasadena with the full intention of painting it. He looked very at ease and in his element enjoying both the sun and the book. It is a miniature painting only 3" by 2", hope you enjoy it.

Hope's Gravity
This is an abstract oil painting I completed some time ago. I had wanted to paint something like this for a long time so to finally do it was actually quite fulfilling. it is obviously a bit strange but I wanted to convey how something symbollically light as a feather could make such an impact. I guess like the title, it is about hope, and I hope you enjoy it.

Tiny Dancers in Waiting - Miniature Painting
This is an original miniature oil painting I finished not too long ago. It is two little dancers waiting in the wings for their recital to begin with eagerness and curiosity as they take a peek at the audience. I really enjoyed painting it. The size is about 3" by 4 1/2", the frame size about 4 3/4" by 6".
